This year, we are thrilled to present Melaperuma 2, a continuation of our celebrated cultural series "MELAPERUMA". Scheduled for June 8, 2024, at Byron Hall, Harrow, London, Melaperuma 2 promises to be a grand cultural and musical extravaganza.
In a continuation of Melaperuma 1, this festival features an electrifying recreation of Thrissur Pooram, featuring spectacular Chenda Melam performances from renowned artists, including Shri Jayaram and Shri Mattannoor Sankarankutty Marar, both recognized for their mastery of this art form, as well as the talented students of Navadhara School of Music.
With Smt KS Chithra, a legendary Indian playback singer, leading the second half of Melaperuma 2, a musical feast is in store. Chithra's performance is expected to captivate the audience with a blend of traditional and contemporary melodies, renowned for her enchanting voice and diverse musical range.
